Description: We are seeking a highly organized and motivated individual to join our team as Medical Administrative Assistant for our busy gastroenterology office. The Medical Administrative Assistant supports the daily operations of the gastroenterology practice by performing a combination of front office administrative duties and limited back office clinical support. This role is primarily responsible for administrative and clerical functions such as scheduling, insurance verification, referrals, and patient record management. In addition, the position includes limited clinical duties, including rooming patients and taking vital signs. Candidates must have prior medical office experience and be fully bilingual in English and Spanish to support our diverse patient population.
