Summary: Hanwha Aerospace USA is looking for an experienced, high energy, dynamic individual to join their corporate Human Resources Team. This individual will lead the Human Resources function across our sites in Connecticut and be responsible for creating meaningful and robust alignment between Operations and Human Resources that drive achievement of Annual Operating Objectives. Must be adept at the skills and techniques required to promote a high-performance environment and lead cultural change. They also will be involved in advising and counseling senior leaders and managers to optimize employee engagement, team development, and organization effectiveness. A successful candidate will need to work in partnership with the business leadership to conceptualize, design, and implement business solutions that support business goals and drive results. Additional responsibilities will include effective execution of all Human Resources processes, including the Talent Development Review, Performance Management, salary planning, and to ensure proper staffing level, infuse talent into the organization and improve bench strength. Essential Functions: • Manage the recruitment cycle, which includes but isn’t limited to managing the requisition process, job posting, candidate sourcing, on boarding, and assisting with New Hire Orientation., • Manage Talent Planning/Succession Planning program for the division i.e. performance appraisals, 9-box planning, Individual Development Plans, and Performance Improvement Plans. Partner with leaders and the internal HR team to identify, collaborate, develop and deploy talent across sites., • Develop, write, maintain and deliver standard reports, queries, graphs, charts, etc. and respond to ad hoc data requests utilizing ADP Platform. Use analytical problem-solving skills to analyze data to propose solutions that will improve productivity and efficiency., • Create employee engagement plans and activities., • Work with collaboratively with business partners to create Learning and Development activities, training sessions, and pathways that will improve overall efficiency., • Provide sound advice to business partners for high-level employee relations matters., • Demonstrate capability to implement appropriate change management tactics that support business needs., • Create standard work and develop policies within HR that improve organizational effectiveness., • Perform other related duties or responsibilities as requested or required. Required Qualifications & Experience: • Must be a “U.S. Person” as defined by the U.S. Government and able to work without restrictions with ITAR related data., • Bachelor’s degree in human resources of related field., • 4+ years of experience Desired Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities • Ability to communicate professionally and effectively with all levels of the organization., • Ability to interpret policies, procedures, and standard business practices., • Ability to read, write, and understand English at a functional level., • Ability to use Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.) and HRIS., • Ability to travel 5-10% when required.
