Key Responsibilities: • Oversee all aspects of site operations and warehousing, ensuring products are packaged according to specifications and cGMP standards., • Drive customer satisfaction by ensuring timely delivery of high-quality products and services., • Foster a culture of leadership, diversity, and empowerment to enhance production effectiveness., • Maintain a safe and compliant work environment, adhering to all regulations., • Ensure the plant meets high production standards and is presentable for GMP packaging., • Direct cleaning activities to comply with cGMP requirements., • Establish clear objectives for production and maintenance teams, ensuring effective performance reviews., • Engage in regulatory audits (MOH GMP, FDA, State of CT, NSF, etc.) and ensure compliance., • Manage corrective and preventive actions related to operations, completing CAPAs promptly., • Revise and approve operational procedures as needed., • Generate daily production reports and manage personnel scheduling., • Provide feedback and discipline when necessary to team members., • Ensure maintenance activities are efficient, minimizing downtime., • Supervise warehouse functions, including receiving, stocking, inspection, production staging, shipping, and inventory management., • Ensure all packaging and warehouse activities align with standard operating procedures and cGMP/GDP.Qualifications:, • Bachelor’s degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus., • 5+ years in operations management within a GMP pharmaceutical environment, with a focus on packaging and warehousing., • Strong understanding of cGMP regulations, FDA guidelines, and experience with audits., • Proven leadership skills with experience in team empowerment, goal setting, and performance reviews., • Ability to analyze production data and familiarity with CAPA processes., • Knowledge of safety regulations and commitment to workplace safety., • Proficient in production management software and Microsoft Office; familiar with SOPs., • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities., • Strong proactive problem-solving skills.Preferred Certifications:, • Quality Management (e.g., ASQ Certified Quality Manager) and Lean Six Sigma.Zing Recruiting, a leader in the staffing industry for the past 33 years, continues our vision of ‘linking’ communities through employment.
