Job Description Description Reports to: Assistant General Manager Hours: Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm ONSITE EVERYDAY Naugatuck, CT Main Duties/Responsibilities: Receive and process customer’s requests for quotes and sales orders via phone, fax and email accurately and timely. Provide customers with all required information upon request. Develop and maintain excellent customer relationships through outstanding customer service. Work with team-members to provide support as required. Follow all aspects of the Company’s quality system and assist with the development of the system as required. Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and company values. Other duties as required. Customer Relationship Management: Proven ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships by delivering exceptional service, timely communication, and proactive support across phone, email, and other communication channels. Purchasing & Quoting Expertise: Hands‑on experience with purchasing processes, quoting, negotiating pricing, and interpreting RFPs (Requests for Proposals) to ensure accurate and competitive submissions. Product & Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with raw materials with the ability to understand product specifications and provide customers with relevant technical and pricing information. Administrative & Quality Compliance: Skilled in following documented procedures, quality systems, and company policies; able to contribute to continuous improvement initiatives as needed. Technical & Organizational Strengths: Highly organized with strong attention to detail; adept at managing purchase orders (primarily via email) and maintaining accurate records while multitasking in a fast‑paced environment. Communication & Interpersonal Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication abilities; comfortable collaborating with cross‑functional teams to ensure seamless order fulfillment and customer satisfaction. Education: Associate degree or Bachelor’s degree preferred, with coursework supporting business, sales, or industrial operations. Experience Level Intermediate Level Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Naugatuck, CT. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $26.44 - $36.06/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
