In this role, you will work closely with our development team and clients to comprehend project specifications and transform them into exceptional web designs. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Designing and developing visually striking and intuitive websites that meet client specifications and user expectations. Collaborating with clients and internal teams to gather requirements and understand project objectives. Creating wireframes, mockups, and prototypes to illustrate design concepts and user interactions. Ensuring the seamless integration of design elements into the website's front-end code. Conducting regular website maintenance and updates to ensure optimal performance and functionality. Staying up-to-date with the latest industry trends, design techniques, and best practices. Conducting usability testing and gathering feedback to continuously improve user experience. Troubleshooting and resolving design-related issues as they arise during the development process. EXPERIENCE: Proven Experience: Demonstrated work experience as a Web Designer, showcasing a strong portfolio of web design projects. Your previous work should highlight your ability to create engaging and innovative designs. Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in using design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, XD) or other relevant tools. Familiarity with front-end development technologies like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a plus. Web Design Skills: A solid understanding of web design principles, user experience (UX) design, and responsive design. You should be able to create designs that enhance usability and optimize user interactions. Creativity: A highly creative mindset with the ability to think outside the box and bring fresh and original ideas to the table. Your designs should stand out and resonate with the target audience. Attention to Detail: A keen eye for detail is essential to ensure that designs are pixel-perfect and aligned with the brand's identity and guidelines. Collaboration: Effective communication and collaboration skills are vital, as you will work closely with clients and internal teams to understand project requirements and deliver exceptional results. Time Management: Excellent time management skills to meet project deadlines and handle multiple tasks simultaneously without compromising quality. Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving abilities to troubleshoot and resolve design-related issues that may arise during the development process. Adaptability: The web design landscape is constantly evolving, so being adaptable and open to learning new techniques and tools is crucial to staying ahead in the field. Passion for Web Design: A genuine passion for web design and a desire to create visually stunning and functional websites that leave a lasting impact on users. SEO Awareness: Knowledge of SEO principles and optimization techniques is a valuable asset to ensure websites are search engine-friendly and accessible to a broader audience. QUALIFICATIONS AND CHARACTERISTICS 1-3 years experience within a dedicated design role. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in web design related field. Exceptional design aesthetics with professional portfolio and websites to demonstrate. Strong communication skills. Website design experience required. Project management experience is a plus. Proficient in iterative design methodologies and design thinking. Previous experience in UI/UX is highly valuable. Experience working with headless CMS platforms is a plus.
