Role snapshot This is a 12 hour shift position (4-3-3-4) • Oversee day-to-day activities across multiple production departments to hit safety, quality, cost, and delivery targets., • Prioritize work based on product introductions and equipment availability; manage schedules to optimize throughput., • Provide direct supervision: assign tasks, check work at frequent intervals, and coach team members., • Spend time on both supervisory leadership and individual contributor tasks that advance team outcomes., • Present technical updates and schedules; partner effectively with peers, customers, and subordinate supervisors. Core impact areas, • Turn plant goals into actionable department strategies with clear guidance and follow-through., • Monitor and improve KPIs across multiple areas; lead daily cross-functional meetings., • Rapidly resolve quality, performance, and downtime issues with collaborators from other functions., • Drive cost-reduction efforts and continuous improvement; champion change management., • Train employees on new processes, procedures, and equipment; maintain open, frequent communication., • Foster positive employee relations aligned to corporate values; ensure strong housekeeping and safety practices., • Investigate and resolve manufacturing issues affecting product or process performance., • Support ISO 9000 and AS9100 requirements; participate in plant meetings. Qualifications, • BS/BA in Engineering or Supply Chain Management (or equivalent experience)., • 2+ years in manufacturing (quality, engineering, or operations)., • 2+ years of supervisory/managerial experience., • Data analysis proficiency for charting, interpreting relationships, and making decisions., • Strong people skills; effective across diverse teams and leadership levels., • Detail orientation; strong with Microsoft Office, electronic document management, and ERP tools.
