We are currently recruiting for an IT Specialist. This position will be on-site at the Tallahassee, FL Office. The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following: • Identifies and eliminates security risks., • Analyzes business requirements for IT needs and systems., • Works to increase user satisfaction., • Communication within and across departments as needed., • Works to increase user satisfaction., • Communication within and across departments as needed., • Assesses needed new equipment and software., • Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed., • Provides technical support to users by researching and answering questions, troubleshooting problems, and maintaining workstations and LAN performance., • Provides answers to users by identifying problems, researching answers, and guiding users through corrective steps., • Improves users' references by writing and maintaining documentation., • Participates in the development of users' training programs by identifying learning issues and recommending instructional language., • Accommodates users’ disabilities by recommending devices and techniques., • Avoids legal challenges by monitoring compliance with service agreements., • Improve system performance by identifying problems and recommending changes., • Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities and maintaining personal networks., • Accomplishes information systems and organization mission by completing related results as needed. Requirements:, • Solid understanding of computer systems, networks, security, VOIP, databases, and storage systems., • Ability to manage and prioritize tasks and projects., • Solid working knowledge of all relevant coding languages and security protocols., • Solid knowledge of networking, SDWAN's, VPN's, VLAN's, Switches, firewalls, APs, and security protocols., • Solid knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating systems, including Windows 10 and 11, and all versions of Windows servers., • Solid knowledge of M365 Including SharePoint, Power Automate, Active Directory, Group Policy, Azure AD, Exchange Online, Microsoft Purview, Microsoft Intune, AD Sync., • Ability to work with others in a congenial and team-oriented manner., • Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to multi-task and adapt to continual change., • Excellent verbal and written communication skills., • Occasional availability to be on-call during holidays, weather events, staff shortages, etc.
