Job DescriptionSalary: $21-$24 SITE COORDINATOR PRIMARY PURPOSE: Responsible for the curriculum and instruction of the Art and Education Program for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Responsible for the supervision of Program Instructors and day-to-day activities, structure, communication and planning of the program. Developing positive and professional relationships with staff, clients, families, community and provider partners. Oversight of record keeping and case notes in accordance with HIPAA regulations. Providing program and community growth. Meeting goals set forth by Art and Education Program Manager and Director. This position will be located in Marble Falls and requires availability Monday through Friday from 8am - 3pm in person, opportunity for hybrid schedule for remaining hours. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: • You embody and embrace our core values, Respect, Joy, and Integrity, • Youre a strong believer that all people should have the opportunity to live to their full potential and be contributing and active members in their communities, enjoying the greatest possible degree of independence and acceptance in all aspects of their lives, • You have strong organizational, planning, time, and project management skills, • You have strong people and behavior management skills, • You have a demonstrated ability to manage a diverse clientele with professionalism, • You have strong decision-making and problem-solving skills, • You can design, research, develop, and implement an online curriculum to meet the needs of virtual I/DD learners, • Lead a group of I/DD online learners to further their independence through a robust online education program, • Provides leadership, direction, and communication to Program Instructors., • Provide community growth through relationship building., • Participate in fundraising efforts to meet goals., • Provide assistance to the Education Manager in managing the education, art studio, class instruction, client safety, client instruction, client behavior redirection, volunteers, and interns, • Provide assistance to the Education Manager in managing day-to-day activities of the art studio, gallery, and education programs, • Providing oversight and management of daily attendance and progress notes for each student Assist with the organization of the classroom and supplies to ensure efficiency SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE: • Have experience teaching group classes, • Have experience managing a team of employees., • Have demonstrated ability in teamwork, group leaderships skills and the ability to speak to large groups., • Have experience utilizing computers for daily work and database software., • Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of intellectual and/or developmental disabilities, • Demonstrated knowledge on promoting skill development through positive education, • Demonstrated ability to communicate and build relationships with key community members.
