Job Description & Requirements • Specialty: Cath Lab Technologist, • Discipline: Allied Health Professional, • Duration: 12 weeks, • 40 hours per week, • Shift: 8 hours, days, • Employment Type: Travel Estimated Gross Weekly Pay: $3680 $500 CONTRACT COMPLETION BONUS Opportunity: RAD Tech - Interventional Rad Tech Job Details: • Work in Cath Lab position with varying shifts of 8 or 12 hours (12:00 PM - 8:30 PM or 8:00 AM - 8:30 PM), • Department is staffed 24/7 with combination of 8-hour and 12-hour shifts to meet weekly requirements, • On-call responsibility from Friday to Friday (7 days of call) every 2-3 months, • Call shifts run from end of shift until 6:00 AM the following morning with 30-minute response time, • Weekend rotation required, though usually just call coverage, • Patient ratio of 1:1 in fast-paced, high acuity environment, • Handle 24-40 cases per day including diagnostic, interventional, RHC, LHC, STEMI/NSTEMI procedures, • Perform CTO, valvuloplasty, Cardiomems, biopsies, atherectomies, staged PCI, IABP, Impella procedures, • Work with peripheral diagnostic and interventional cases, including fistulograms, • Hybrid experience preferred for AAA grafts, thoracic grafts, clips, TAVRs, Watchman procedures, • Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, ARRT(R), Wisconsin License, • RCIS certification preferred, • Must have 3 years of experience (first-time travelers not accepted), • Skills required include scrubbing and panning, • One week orientation provided, • Scrub colors provided, • Free parking available, • Cannot work more than 60 hours per week or 5 consecutive 12-hour shifts per facility fatigue policy, • Use EPIC charting system, Alaris, Pyxis, GE C-arms, and various specialized equipment, • Typically do not work holidays Facility: This healthcare facility is a Level III Trauma Center and comprehensive medical facility featuring 933 beds with Magnet Designation. The organization operates as a Level III NICU and Comprehensive Stroke Center, providing advanced cardiac services through 15 total labs shared between Cath Lab, EP, and Hybrid procedures. The Cath Lab features approximately 11 dedicated labs handling high-volume, complex interventional procedures with 24/7 cardiology support and comprehensive critical care capabilities including hospitalist and respiratory therapy services.
