ABOUT THE ROLE: As a Project Captain, you will collaborate directly with the Project Manager and Project Directors, overseeing the coordination and creation of project design deliverables and construction documentation. To thrive in this role, you must be a strong leader who can mentor and guide project production teams to ensure that documents are completed on time and to the highest quality. Job DescriptionSolar Account Manager (Utility-Scale Renewable Energy)**We are hiring for both one Senior level and one Junior level Location: Scottsdale, AZ (Remote until Oct 2025) Travel: As needed to meet service level agreements or attend business-critical meetings Position Overview As an Account Manager, you will play a key role in maximizing operational efficiency and asset performance across a portfolio of utility-scale renewable energy projects, including battery energy storage systems (BESS). You’ll blend strong technical acumen, data-driven decision-making, and client-facing project management skills to ensure high levels of performance and reliability. This role requires a balance of analytical problem-solving and customer service, as you’ll serve as the main point of contact for clients while collaborating closely with internal field and control center teams. Ideal candidates are technically curious, highly organized, and excellent communicators—both verbally and in writing. Key Responsibilities * Project Oversight & Coordination Lead day-to-day project operations, schedule meetings, assign resources, and monitor budgets and milestones. Ensure timelines and deliverables are met, escalating issues as needed to keep projects on track. * Client-Facing Performance Management Act as the primary liaison for your assigned sites. Provide remote performance analytics and insights to support both the control center and field teams. Lead performance calls with clients and internal stakeholders regarding asset status and availability. * Portfolio Management Oversee a portfolio of BESS and renewable projects, ensuring preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, repair coordination, and performance monitoring are executed to standard. * Cross-Functional Collaboration Partner with project directors, clients, and cross-functional teams to continuously improve systems and processes. Maintain documentation and contribute to knowledge sharing across the organization. * Team Leadership (for Mid-Senior Level Roles) Provide oversight and guidance to 2–3 team members. While our main office is in Arizona, we have employees in several states who work successfully at home. Unitas helps dental practices virtually manage the insurance aspects of their business. Our clients are all over the country, and the Account Manager provides service on accounts through phone calls, emails, and Google Meet screens-share; no travel is required. We need dependable workers who enjoy the rewards of a customer service role who are also comfortable working at a computer all day. Remote Work We provide all needed computer equipment; you will need a comfortable workspace and a strong internet connection. Remote to us means that while your office is at home, when clocked in, we require that you are able to have a quiet, professional workspace, free of distractions and background noise.
