Job Details Job Details: Are you ready for an adventure? We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Permanent Superintendent - Commercial for our growing team. This role requires a unique blend of leadership, technical expertise, and project management skills. The successful candidate will oversee ground-up construction, tenant improvements (TI), and remodeling projects primarily in the retail, fuel station, and convenience store sectors. This position will require travel to various job sites, ensuring that each project is completed on time, within budget, and adhering to the highest standards of quality and safety. Responsibilities: As a Permanent Superintendent - Commercial, your key responsibilities will include: 1. Overseeing all stages of project life cycle, including pre-construction, construction, and post-construction phases., 2. Managing and coordinating the activities of subcontractors, suppliers, laborers, and other project team members., 3. Ensuring that all work is performed in accordance with plans, specifications, building codes, and safety regulations., 4. Monitoring project progress, addressing any issues that arise, and steering the project to successful completion., 5. Conducting regular site inspections to verify that work is proceeding on schedule and to the specified quality standards., 6. Coordinating with architects, engineers, and other construction and building specialists., 7. Managing project documentation and maintaining comprehensive project records., 8. Communicating effectively with clients, team members, and stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status., 9. Implementing and enforcing site safety plans and ensuring that all work is performed in a safe and responsible manner., 10. Managing projects in occupied spaces, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations. Qualifications: To be considered for the Permanent Superintendent - Commercial position, you must possess: MUST BE WILLING TO TRAVEL. 1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the retail, fuel station, or convenience store sectors., 2. Proven experience in ground-up construction, tenant improvements (TI), renovations, and remodeling., 3. Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, standards, and regulations., 4. Excellent project management skills, with a proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines., 5. Strong leadership skills, with a proven ability to motivate and manage a diverse team., 6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with team members, clients, and stakeholders at all levels., 7. Proficiency in using construction management software and technology., 8. A strong commitment to safety, with a proven track record of implementing and enforcing effective safety policies and procedures., 9. A valid driver's license and the ability to travel to various job sites as required.
