Join our dynamic team as an Assistive Technology for Communication (AAC) and Academic Support Specialist where you'll make a meaningful difference in students' educational journeys every single day. Make Real Impact • Watch students find their voice through personalized communication systems, • Bridge the gap between technology and learning, creating pathways to academic success, • Build meaningful relationships with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams, • Design and implement cutting-edge AAC solutions tailored to each student's unique communication needs, • Collaborate with students, families, and educational teams to identify the perfect assistive technology tools, • Provide hands-on training and ongoing support for AAC devices, software, and communication strategies, • Support academic achievement through specialized AT interventions and accommodations, • Active California license in Occupational Therapy (OT), Speech-Language Pathology (SLP), or Physical Therapy (PT), • OR Valid California teaching credential, • Certification in Assistive Technology (AT) required, • Deep understanding of AAC principles, devices, and implementation strategies, • Experience with diverse assistive technology platforms and tools, • Strong problem-solving skills with a creative, student-centered approach, • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities, • Passion for advocacy and student empowerment, • Hybrid flexibility: Combine meaningful in-person student interactions with productive remote work, • Variety in your day: work directly with students on campus, then focus on planning and documentation from home, • Opportunity to shape the future of assistive technology in education, • Access to ongoing professional development and AT training, • Collaborative environment with fellow specialists, teachers, and therapists, • Competitive hourly rate: $47-$60 per hour based on experience and credentials, • Health, dental, and vision insurance, • Professional development opportunities, • Paid time off and major holidays Ready to Transform Lives?
