In partnership with CSC Project Managers, the Lead Clinical Supervisor provides shift-level clinical and administrative leadership across CDF and CDIS, supporting the implementation of program standards, workflows, and service expectations. Key Responsibilities Curriculum & Instructional Support • Collaborate with the Area Director to develop, refine, and implement developmentally appropriate curriculum plans aligned with organizational standards and Washington State Early Learning Guidelines., • Support lead teachers in lesson planning, classroom setup, and instructional strategies., • Model best practices in early childhood education through classroom observations, coaching, and feedback., • Contribute to curriculum design and ensure alignment across multiple sites., • Conduct regular classroom walkthroughs to assess program quality, safety, and adherence to curriculum expectations., • Provide coaching and follow-up support to ensure continuous improvement., • Help maintain consistent program practices across multiple preschool sites., • Support onboarding of new teaching staff, including orientation to curriculum, policies, and licensing expectations., • Assist the Area Director in ensuring all preschool sites meet or exceed Washington State Department of Children, Youth & Families (DCYF) licensing requirements., • Help maintain accurate records, documentation, and compliance files., • Support preparation for licensing visits, quality assessments, and audits., • Support communication with families regarding curriculum, classroom activities, and program updates., • Participate in family events, open houses, and community engagement activities., • Assist with scheduling, staffing coordination, and classroom coverage when needed., • Help maintain inventory of classroom materials and supplies., • Support implementation of organizational policies, procedures, and strategic initiatives., • Must meet Washington State licensing requirements for a Program Supervisor or equivalent role (e.g., ECE credits, STARS training, background check)., • Preferably 30 college credits in Early Childhood Education or related coursework., • Experience working in a licensed early childhood education setting., • Strong understanding of Washington State licensing regulations (DCYF), Early Achievers, and early learning best practices., • Demonstrated ability to coach, mentor, and support teaching staff., • Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills., • Knowledge of child development and developmentally appropriate practice, • Strong leadership and collaboration skills, • Attention to detail and commitment to compliance, • Ability to build positive relationships with staff and families This role requires regular on‑site presence at preschool locations, frequent travel between sites, and the ability to meet the physical demands of working in early childhood settings, including sitting on the floor, standing for extended periods, and lifting up to 40 pounds as needed to support classroom environments.
