This is an outstanding opportunity for experienced RNs seeking travel nursing jobs in North Carolina healthcare settings.\n \n\nCardiac Telemetry RN Job Details\n\n • Location: Wilmington, NC (28401) – North Carolina nursing jobs\n, • Healthcare Setting: Cardiac Medical Telemetry Unit\n, • Contract Length: 13 to 26 weeks\n, • Start Date: December 15, 2025\n, • End Date: March 16, 2026\n, • Shift: Day shift, 3x12-hour shifts per week (06:45 - 19:15)\n, • Hours per Week: 36\n, • Estimated Weekly Salary: $1660-$1700\n, • Patient Ratios: 1:6-7\n, • Weekend Requirement: 5-6 weekend shifts per contract (every other weekend)\n, • Float Requirement: Required; may float within hospital or affiliate hospitals\n, • Orientation: 24 hours\n, • Scrubs: Navy\n\n\nRegistered Nurse Qualifications\n\n, • Minimum 2 years of recent Cardiac Telemetry and PCU/DOU/IMC/Stepdown RN experience\n, • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in North Carolina or Compact State (required at time of start)\n, • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification (required)\n, • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification (required)\n, • Must pass EKG testing prior to start\n, • Experience with Epic charting system preferred\n, • NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale) certification preferred\n, • Charge nurse experience preferred\n, • Ability to interpret dysrhythmias and perform remote cardiac monitoring\n, • Experience with pre/post cardiac cath, cardiac surgery, sheath removal, cardiac drip titration (Diltiazem, Amiodarone), blood product administration, and central/PICC line management\n, • Comfortable floating to other nursing units as needed\n, • Must be able to work 2 out of 3 major holidays if scheduled\n\n\nCardiac Telemetry RN Responsibilities\n\n, • Deliver high-quality nursing care to adult cardiac telemetry patients, including those with congestive heart failure, arrhythmias, and post-cardiac catheterization\n, • Monitor and manage cardiac drips (Dobutamine, Amiodarone, Cardizem, Milrinone, Dopamine, Diltiazem, etc.)\n, • Perform sheath pulls and manage TR Bands and Femstop devices\n, • Access ports, administer blood products, and manage central/PICC lines\n, • Interpret cardiac rhythms and respond to rapid response/code situations\n, • Document care using Epic and communicate effectively using SBAR\n, • Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams including physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, and social services\n, • Float to other units as required, adapting to varying patient needs and unit protocols\n We believe in empowering your career.
