Duties will include managing a caseload of motor vehicle and premises files with a paralegal and assistant; court appearances including depositions; drafting (BPs, etc.). Responsibilities: • Conduct research to support legal proceedings, • Assist with the drafting and reviewing of legal documents, including:, • Retainer agreements, • EEOC/State Division of Human Rights Charges/Complaints, • Complaints in federal/state court, • Proposed discovery orders, • Discovery demands (interrogatories, requests for production of documents, etc.), • Respones to discovery (interrogatories, documents, initial disclosures), • Investigate facts and prepare written summaries, • Record and store client information, • Review settlement agreements, • Prepare draft letters to the Court, • File documents via PACER/NYSCEF, • Previous experience as a paralegal, • Familiarity with legal research, • Ability to prioritize and multitask, • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, • Deadline and detail-oriented
