Job DescriptionJourneyman Service Plumber – Commercial & Residential Join a high‑performing service team where experienced plumbers stay busy, earn strong weekly commissions, and work with a company that invests heavily in training, tools, and long‑term growth. What You’ll Do • Service calls — respond promptly, inspect issues, diagnose problems, present solutions, and close service sales., • Fixture installs — sinks, toilets, tubs, disposals, dishwashers, softeners, and full water heater installs (gas, electric, tankless)., • Drain cleaning — perform sewer and drain cleaning in basements, roofs, crawl spaces, and tight spaces., • Preventative maintenance and full‑system evaluations., • Jobsite cleanup — restore work areas to pre‑job condition., • Prepare invoices, collect payments, and move on to the next service call.What You Bring, • Journeyman Plumbing License., • 5+ years of commercial/residential service plumbing experience., • Strong customer‑facing communication skills; friendly, outgoing, and approachable., • Experience with PVC, cast iron, copper, toilets, sinks, water heaters, and drain cleaning., • Valid driver’s license., • Ability to read basic prints and follow scope., • Proven ability to sell plumbing services and build trust with customers.Training & Certifications, • 12‑week employer‑paid training program (half in office, half in field) at $27/hr., • Company‑supported Backflow Certification., • Company‑supported OSHA 10., • Excavation Certification required within first year (company supported).Tools, Equipment & Support, • Company‑provided service van, phone, and tablet., • Company pays for major tools and equipment., • Employee brings basic hand tools.Pay & Schedule, • Weekly pay with two separate checks (commission + mileage)., • Mileage paid from home each morning at $0.70/mile., • 1st‑shift schedule; 8‑hour days between 7 a.m. and 8 p.m., • Overtime paid at 1.5x average weekly production., • Plumbers typically earn:, • Top performers: $200,000+ yearly (billing $20,000+ weekly)., • Average: ~$100,000 yearly (billing $10,000+ weekly)., • Minimum: ~$60,000 yearly (billing $5,000+ weekly)., • Commission structure:, • 20% on all billings, • 3% on referrals, • $25 per Google review, • Drive/mileage pay typically adds $300–$700 weekly., • Pay often equates to ~$50/hr for plumbers billing $10,000 weekly.Why This Role Stands Out, • Consistent work in both commercial and residential service., • High earning potential with clear commission structure., • Strong training investment.
