Job Description Position Summary/Objective This role will oversee thorough dishwashing procedures and practices to fully sanitize each dish according to health and safety standards for each one of our operators within the scheduled timelines. This role is in charge of maintaining a clean dish pit throughout the shift and for next party’s use when needed. Essential Functions • Maintains a clean dish room, properly washes and sorts soiled dishes, and assists as needed., • Keep operator materials separate and organized from each dept., • Keeps dish area free of clutter and organized., • Sets up dish stations, including dish machines and sinks., • Maintains clean / dry floors throughout the shift., • Properly washes, stacks, and stores bus tubs, pots, pans, cookware, and storage containers., • Maintains trash cans throughout shift and removes full trashcans and boxes at the end of each shift., • Maintains the chemical storage area and the organization of storage shelves., • Follows the posted daily dish cleaning duties., • Assists in storage and any other duties set forth or requested by the lead., • An expectation of flexible participation in different areas of need, • Excellent verbal communication skills and positive work ethic., • Ability to work efficiently and quickly., • Teamwork., • Must work well under pressure., • Willingness to take direction from management and represent the company appropriately. Required Education and Experience • High school or vocational school coursework in kitchen basics, such as food safety is preferred. Physical Requirements • Must be able to Stand and Work for 8 hours or more., • Must be able to lift 50 pounds at times., • Ability to perform repetitive movements over long periods of time.
