Position Overview The Warehouse Associate is a detail-driven, disciplined professional responsible for accurate order picking, pallet building, and maintaining inventory integrity across warehouse and Cash & Carry operations. This role directly impacts customer satisfaction, inventory accuracy, and operational reliability. Accuracy is critical. Safety is non-negotiable. Core Responsibilities 1. Order Fulfillment & Store Support • Pick and stage distribution orders accurately and efficiently, • Pick and prepare Cash & Carry customer orders, • Verify product quantities and item numbers before staging, • Stack, palletize, tote, and/or store product in a safe and efficient manner, • Replenish warehouse stock to support the Cash & Carry store, • Maintain organized retail shelves daily, • Assist with labeling & maintaining sample boards 2. Inventory Control & Accuracy • Label products with accurate barcodes and pricing, • Create and maintain professional shelf tags, • Write daily backup orders to maintain 95%+ in-stock levels, • Execute proper FIFO (First In, First Out) rotation procedures, • Identify and report slow-moving, damaged, or mislabeled inventory, • Perform structured daily, weekly, and monthly cycle counts, • Reconcile physical counts against system inventory, • Investigate discrepancies and report variances to management, • Assist in maintaining a 98%+ inventory accuracy rate, • Support annual physical inventory and audit preparation This role is responsible for reducing shrinkage, protecting inventory accuracy, and ensuring operational reliability across warehouse and retail channels. 3. Warehouse Operations • Operate stand-up forklifts and order pickers, • Utilize RF scanners to track inventory and product movement, • Transport product throughout the warehouse according to company standards, • Stack, palletize, tote, and store product safely and efficiently, • Assist with loading and unloading deliveries, • Maintain organized warehouse aisles and storage locations, • Operate pallet jacks and warehouse equipment safely, • Follow all warehouse safety protocols, including required PPE and safety checks on powered equipment Qualifications • 1+ year of warehouse experience, • 1+ year of forklift experience with strong adherence to safety protocols, • High attention to detail and accountability, • Ability to lift 50–75 lbs. frequently, • Comfortable working in warehouse and retail environments, • Comfortable with exposure to heat, cold, noise, dust, and heights, • Positive, team-oriented mindset Benefits • Competitive hourly pay at $22.00 per hour with tier-based annual increase structure, • Medical, dental, and vision insurance, • Two (2) weeks of paid time off in your first year, • Paid holidays, • 401(k) retirement plan, • Company profit-sharing program, • Internal advancement and growth opportunities, • Modern technology and up-to-date warehouse equipment Location: 4550 S Brust Ave | St. Francis, WI 53235 | Company DescriptionSuperior participates in every aspect of the restaurant supply, hospitality and beverage industries.
