American Traveler is seeking a travel Radiology Technologist for a travel job in Charlotte, North Carolina. Job Description & Requirements • Specialty: Radiology Technologist, • Discipline: Allied Health Professional, • Start Date: 03/30/2026, • Duration: 13 weeks, • 36 hours per week, • Shift: 12 hours, nights, • Employment Type: Travel Assignment Overview • Shift: Nights, 3x12hrs, • Hours: 36 hrs/wk, • Start Date: Mar 30, 2026, • Length: 13 weeks, • Large acute care teaching hospital designated as a Level I Trauma Center, Level I Pediatric Trauma Center, Chest Pain Center, and Stroke Center, • Radiology department serving adults and pediatric patients from the ED, ICUs, nursing units, and outpatient settings across the full spectrum of radiology exams, • High-volume department averaging 350–400 patients per day, • Equipment includes Shimadzu RadSpeed general rad room, Intelli-C multipurpose unit, Konica and Shimadzu portables, and GE and Siemens R/F rooms, • EMR: Epic, • 12-hour night shifts, Friday through Sunday, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM, • Weekend-only position with no weekday/weekend rotation, • On-call is required and distributed on a fair rotation among full-time, part-time, PRN, and travel staff, • No floating requiredRequirements, • Minimum of 1 year of experience in radiology, • Current BLS and ARRT-R certification required, • Active state license required, if applicable, • Experience in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment required, • Epic EMR experience, • Most recent experience must be within the last year, • At least 1 professional reference from a Supervisor, Manager, Director, or Charge RN dated within the past year required for consideration, • Last 4 digits of SSN and full date of birth required for consideration, • Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligibleAdditional Information, • Perform general radiology exams across a diverse patient population including ED, ICU, nursing unit, and outpatient cases, • Department is staffed 24/7/365 and led by a lead tech, modality supervisor, and Imaging Manager, • Team includes a diverse mix of experience levels from new graduates to long-tenured staff, • Orientation includes a facility and departmental tour with introductions; departmental orientation is approximately 5 days but may be adjusted based on traveler needs, • Holiday coverage is expected unless time off is approved in advance by the manager, • RTO requires manager approval, • First-time travelers are welcome to apply, • Candidates who have worked a permanent position at an AHSE facility must have been separated for at least 1 year before being considered, • Scrub color: Black With thousands of travel nursing and allied jobs nationwide, our attentive and approachable recruiters find positions that align perfectly with your career aspirations and personal requirements.
