POSITION SUMMARY Join the kitchen team at our Sloan’s Lake Brewery & Pizzeria where you’ll craft and bake our house-made doughs for pretzels, pizzas and upcoming projects, while working alongside our talented culinary team. We take pride in producing everything from scratch—from our signature pizzas and Colorado-inspired dishes. Position Hours: Must have availability for late night shifts, dough prep will occur outside of regular business hours. Hours will fluctuate depending on the needs of prep. Dough makers can be scheduled up to 40 hours a week. We work to schedule 2 days off in a row each week. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS • Prepare and maintain daily batches of dough for pretzels, pizzas, and other food prep items according to Odell recipes and standards., • Monitor dough fermentation, hydration, and temperature to ensure consistency and quality., • Roll, portion, and proof doughs as needed for service., • Identify and improve operational efficiencies within this position, as needed., • Coordinate with the Assistant General Manager to forecast dough production based on sales and events., • Maintain accurate records of prep volumes and par levels., • Operate mixers, sheeters, and ovens safely and efficiently., • Support line operations during service by firing pizzas, supporting salad & fry stations and plating dishes while maintaining speed and accuracy., • Uphold cleanliness and sanitation standards in all prep, cooking, and baking areas., • Communicate effectively with co-workers and leadership to maintain smooth kitchen flow., • Receive and properly store deliveries; label and date all products., • Abide by all company safety and food-handling policies. EXPERIENCE/SKILLS REQUIRED • Must be at least 21 years of age, • Previous experience working with pizza and/or pretzel dough, • Current food handlers permit of ServSafe certified is a plus, • Must be willing and able to work a varied schedule including nights, weekends, and some holidays, • Models and promotes Odell values, • Demonstrated positive, motivated, hardworking, and collaborative attitude required, • Ability to work long hours on your feet, • Ability to lift up to 55 lbs and move up to 160 lbs, • Ability to work in a hot, wet, and loud environment, • Ability to crouch, bend, lift, climb stairs, and reach COMPENSATION Wage information is provided in compliance with the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act and is Odell’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the compensation range and benefits offered for this position. The compensation offered to the successful applicant may vary based on factors including experience, skills, education, location, or other position-related reasons.
