About the Role: The Logistics Officer is a key team member supporting Thomas Global Systems operations by managing theaccurate,timely, and compliant flow ofaircraftparts, components, and materials. This roleis responsible forensuring inventory accuracy,maintainingfull part traceability, coordinating material movement, and delivering complete, configuration-correct kits to the assembly floor in line with production schedules. The Logistics Officer, reporting to theProcurementManagersupports aerospace production activities by adhering to applicable regulatory and quality standards (including FAA, EASA, and AS9100) andoperateswithin a clean, safe, and well-organizedlogisticsand warehouse environmentin accordance withThomas Global Systems approved procedures and quality requirements.This position is a safety-sensitive function and requires drug and alcohol testing in compliance with 14 CFR Part 120 and 49 CFR Part 40. Location: Irvine, CA, fully onsite. Key Responsibilities: Aircraft Parts Inventory Management • Maintainaccurateinventory levels foraircraftparts, components, and materials., • Perform inventory transactions, stocking, and cycle counts; investigate and resolve discrepancies., • Receive, inspect, and verifyaircraftparts and materials against purchase orders and airworthiness documentation (e.g., C of C, FAA 8130-3, EASA Form 1)., • Ensure proper identification, traceability, and segregation of serviceable, unserviceable, and quarantined materialsin accordance withFAA, EASA, AS9100, and FAA Part 145 requirements., • Build and issue production kitsin accordance withBills of Materials (BOMs), engineering drawings, and work orders., • Verify kits are complete, configuration-correct, and released to production on time., • Review production schedules to forecast material needs andidentifypotential shortages., • Coordinate material changes and updates in support of Engineering Change Orders (ECOs)., • Accuratelymaintaininventory, shipping, receiving, and traceability records within the inventory management system., • Prepare, package, and coordinate outbound shipments with approved carriers to ensure on-time delivery in compliance with customer, FAA, and export control requirements., • Manage receiving, storage, and internal movement ofaircraftpartsin accordance withhandling and regulatory requirements., • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized shipping, receiving, and warehouse environment., • Comply withall applicable safety, quality, and regulatory requirements and support internal and external audits., • Perform other duties as assigned by management. Required Skills, Experience and Behaviors: * • Minimum 2 years experience in aerospacelogistics, inventory control, material handling, or supply chain operations., • Working knowledge of FAA Part 145 requirements, AS9100 standards, and aerospace traceability and documentation practices., • Ability to interpret Bills of Materials (BOMs), work orders, engineering drawings, and revision-controlled documentation., • Experience usingExcel andERP/MRP systems for inventory transactions, kitting, and material tracking., • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, anda high levelof accuracy in a regulated environment., • Experience in aerospace manufacturing, repair, assembly, avionics, orcomponentlogisticspreferred., • Supply chain,logistics, or quality-related certifications (e.g., APICS/ASCM)are preferred., • Exposure to lean or continuous improvement practices such as 5S or Kanbanis preferred., • Confirmed NEGATIVE results for drug and alcohol testing in compliance with 14 CFR Part 120 and 49 CFR Part 40.
