Job DescriptionDescription: Kalos is seeking a Warehouse & Dispatch Coordinator who thrives in a fast-paced environment and keeps operations moving. This role blends hands-on warehouse logistics with project and service coordination support for our commercial teams. You’ll be responsible for receiving and staging materials, maintaining accurate asset and inventory tracking, and ensuring equipment moves in and out of the warehouse efficiently. In parallel, you’ll support daily dispatch and job coordination—communicating with field teams, managing schedules, and keeping projects and service work on track. This is not a purely administrative position. The right person is comfortable working in the warehouse, operating equipment, and switching gears to coordinate technicians, solve logistical issues, and keep work flowing. If you value organization, clear communication, and catching small problems before they turn into big ones, this could be a great fit. Schedule: • Day shift, Monday – Friday. This role will be on-site full-time, • Occasional early/late pickups and rare weekend support during project pushes Compensation: $25–$28/hour Warehouse & Logistics Operations • Monitor Google Chat spaces and respond promptly to logistical requests, • Coordinate with vendors for material identification, purchasing, will-calls, and specialized jobsite services, • Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, staging, loading, and outbound deliveries, • Pick, pack, label, and stage job kits by project; verify counts and paperwork prior to load-out, • Track tools and equipment using the asset management system; flag and follow up on missing items, • Maintain inventory levels, perform cycle counts, and place restock orders to sustain PAR levels, • Process returns and RMAs; maintain an organized warehouse, cages, and yard using basic 5S practices, • Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and pallet stackers; verify load securement and weight distribution, • Follow OSHA and Kalos safety standards; keep the warehouse clean, organized, and audit-ready Project & Service Coordination / Dispatch This role owns daily technician scheduling, dispatch execution, and real-time job coordination for the South Florida operation. While it does not manage project budgets or supervise field crews, it plays a critical role in day-to-day execution and communication between the warehouse, field teams, and office. Responsibilities include: • Dispatch technicians across service, maintenance, install, and project work throughout the day, • Monitor active jobs and adjust schedules in real time based on priorities, delays, and urgent needs, • Coordinate closely with field teams and leadership to align schedules with material, tool, and jobsite readiness, • Review completed and in-progress jobs daily for accuracy, notes, photos, and required follow-ups, • Communicate clearly with technicians regarding job details, material status, delivery windows, and scope changes, • Support urgent service needs through same-day parts coordination, will-calls, hot shots, and technician reroutes, • Assist with documentation, photo capture, and clean handoffs between warehouse, service, and project teams, • Proven logistics or warehouse experience with routing, staging, and inventory control, • Comfortable operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and pallet stackers, • Highly organized with the ability to manage competing priorities without sacrificing accuracy or safety, • Proficient with Google Workspace (Chat, Drive, Sheets); comfortable using maps and basic dispatch tools, • Clear, professional communicator across warehouse, field, and office teams, • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a warehouse environment (heat, noise, dust), with or without accommodation, • Clean driving record; background check and drug-free workplace compliance required Licenses and Certifications • Valid Florida driver’s license, • Forklift certification (or ability to obtain within 60 days), • DOT medical card a plus Benefits At Kalos, we believe in supporting our employees both at work and in life.
