Job Description Job Title: Facilities Service Technician Job Description As a Facilities Service Technician, you will be responsible for traveling to various fast food restaurants, commercial buildings, and gas stations to perform facilities and plumbing repairs. This role requires the identification and repair of leaks, clogs, and broken pipes, as well as effective customer service and communication. Responsibilities • Travel to various locations for facilities and plumbing repairs., • Identify and fix leaks, clogs, and broken pipes., • Perform customer service and communicate effectively with clients., • Document tasks and updates using a mobile application., • Install FRP walls in restaurant kitchens., • Maintain and repair grease traps, floor sinks, and drains., • Snake, jet, and use cameras or scopes to work with P-traps and faucets., • Replace water heaters and perform backflow installations., • Locate pipes, clogs, and breaks., • Troubleshoot light electrical issues up to 240V., • Patch holes and repair drywall., • Perform preventative maintenance as required., • Experience with facilities maintenance and construction., • Knowledge of plumbing techniques and equipment., • Basic electrical troubleshooting skills., • Experience with cast iron piping., • Basic wall repair skills, including drywall and texture patching., • EPA/HVAC certification is a plus., • Good attitude, willingness to learn, and ability to work as a team player. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Bakersfield, CA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $34.00 - $34.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
