Job Description POSITION SUMMARY: The Maintenance General Supervisor – Corrective Maintenance is fully responsible for all corrective maintenance activities at the Sheldon and Miller Rd facilities. This role provides direct leadership to all corrective maintenance crews, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality execution of corrective work. The supervisor oversees maintenance scheduling aligned with departmental goals, manages vendor and contractor interactions, and ensures that all corrective maintenance supports operational continuity, equipment reliability, and organizational standards. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: • Ensure the highest level of personnel safety, embedding safe work practices into every aspect of corrective maintenance., • Provide strong leadership, direction, and oversight to all corrective maintenance crews, ensuring timely and effective execution of corrective work., • Coach, train, and develop maintenance personnel to strengthen technical capability, reinforce safe behaviors, and build a culture of accountability and continuous improvement., • Maintain all plant equipment to the highest possible standard, meeting or exceeding internal customer expectations., • Manage and control corrective maintenance costs while supporting operational readiness and reliability goals., • Ensure corrective maintenance tasks are completed within required deadlines to support production needs., • Identify opportunities for equipment improvements, reliability enhancements, and capital investment., • Address personnel matters within the corrective maintenance team, including performance management and skill development., • Enforce compliance with company policies, procedures, and cultural expectations., • Promote teamwork, collaboration, and effective communication across all organizational levels., • Drive continuous improvement and lean methodologies to enhance maintenance efficiency and reduce downtime.
