Job DescriptionCT Technician Location: Tulsa, OK Pay Range:$35–$40 per hour Position Objective The CT Technician plays a vital support role in delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging services. This position is responsible for accurately processing physician scanning instructions, preparing and administering contrast materials, and operating CT scan equipment to produce clear and precise diagnostic images. The CT Technician works closely with department team members and leadership to provide efficient workflows and deliver 5-star patient care. Responsibilities • Operate computerized tomography (CT) equipment to obtain high-quality diagnostic images of patients’ internal structures, • Accurately interpret and execute physician scanning instructions, • Prepare and administer contrast materials in accordance with established protocols, • Communicate effectively with patients to explain procedures, address concerns, and ensure comfort during imaging, • Adhere to all radiation safety protocols to minimize exposure for patients and staff, • Monitor and evaluate image quality to ensure accurate diagnostic results, • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during imaging procedures, • Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals regarding patient history and imaging results, • Accurately document patient information and maintain compliance with regulatory standards, • Perform routine equipment maintenance, report malfunctions, and coordinate repairs as necessary, • Stay current with CT technology advancements and complete continuing education as required, • Perform additional duties as assigned Position Requirements & Skills • Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program with a focus on CT imaging, • Current certification as a CT Technologist through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or equivalent, • Current State of Oklahoma licensure as a Radiologic Technologist, • Minimum of 1 year of experience as a CT Technician with demonstrated proficiency performing a variety of CT scans, • Proficiency in Google Suite (Drive, Docs, Sheets, Slides) and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Key Attributes • Positive, energetic work ethic that inspires collaboration and teamwork, • Strong commitment to delivering quality patient care, • Effective team player who meets commitments and contributes ideas, • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, • Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking skills, • High level of attention to detail and data confidentiality, • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, • Strong interpersonal and presentation abilities, • Critical thinker with strong problem-solving capabilities, • Results-oriented with a focus on quality execution, • Appreciation for cultural diversity and sensitivity to patient populations #HP TRINITY EMPLOYMENT SPECIALISTS IS AN EQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYER See the great things people are saying by checking out our Google reviews, along with our Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, X/Twitter.Please visit theCareer Centeron our website for some helpful resources to help in your job search, to build a resume, for interview tips and many job opportunities! At least one year of CT experience • Operate magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scanners., • Select appropriate imaging techniques or coils to produce required images., • Intravenously inject contrast dyes, such as gadolinium contrast, in accordance with scope of practice., • Position patients on cradle, attaching immobilization devices, if needed, to ensure appropriate placement for imaging., • Conduct screening interviews of patients to identify contraindications, such as ferrous objects, pregnancy, prosthetic heart valves, cardiac pacemakers, or tattoos., • Explain magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) procedures to patients, patient representatives, or family members., • Provide headphones or earplugs to patients to improve comfort and reduce unpleasant noise., • Take brief medical histories from patients., • Inspect images for quality, using magnetic resonance scanner equipment and laser camera., • Create backup copies of images by transferring images from disk to storage media or workstation., • Troubleshoot technical issues related to magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scanner or peripheral equipment, such as monitors or coils., • Write reports or notes to summarize testing procedures or outcomes for physicians or other medical professionals., • Calibrate magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) console or peripheral hardware., • Instruct medical staff or students in magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) procedures or equipment operation., • Place and secure small, portable magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scanners on body part to be imaged, such as arm, leg, or head., • Schedule appointments for research subjects or clinical patients., • Connect physiological leads to physiological acquisition control (PAC) units., • Request sedatives or other medication from physicians for patients with anxiety or claustrophobia., • Operate optical systems to capture dynamic magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) images, such as functional brain imaging, real-time organ motion tracking, or musculoskeletal anatomy and trajectory visualization.
