Discover rewarding Ohio nursing jobs in a vibrant city known for its welcoming community, thriving arts scene, and beautiful parks.\n \n\nER RN Job Details – Columbus, OH\n\n • Location: Columbus, Ohio 43210\n, • Healthcare Setting: Emergency Department Observation Unit\n, • Assignment Length: 13 weeks\n, • Start Date: December 1, 2025\n, • End Date: March 2, 2026\n, • Shift: Night shifts, 3x12-hour (19:00 - 07:30)\n, • Hours per Week: 36\n, • Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $1680–$1720\n, • Patient Age Groups: Pediatrics, Adolescents, Adults, Geriatrics\n, • Staffing Ratio: 1:4\n, • Charting System: EPIC\n\n\nRegistered Nurse Qualifications\n\n, • Minimum 2 years of recent emergency room nursing experience\n, • Active RN license (compact or Ohio state license required)\n, • Graduate of an ACEN or CCNE accredited nursing program\n, • Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, PALS\n, • Experience with EPIC documentation preferred\n, • Trauma Level I or II experience preferred\n, • Community hospital and LTAC experience preferred\n, • Two professional references (one from manager/director or formal leadership)\n, • Flu vaccine required (medical exemptions only)\n\n\nER RN Responsibilities\n\n, • Provide high-quality patient care in the Emergency Department Observation Unit\n, • Manage telemetry, dysrhythmia, PCU/stepdown care, and rapid response team utilization\n, • Administer IV insulin and heparin protocols, cardiac and vasoactive drips (including titration)\n, • Perform blood product administration, tracheostomy management, wound care, and wound vac procedures\n, • Utilize non-invasive airway management (CPAP/BIPAP, oxygen therapy)\n, • Document patient care using EPIC electronic health records\n, • Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare support teams (Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Radiology, Social Services, Pharmacy)\n We believe in empowering your career.
