Job Description Position: Warehouse Shipping & Receiving Clerk Location: Arlington, TX Classification: Full Time; Nonexempt; Hourly Reports to: General Manager Date prepared: October 31, 2025 Prepared by: HR Manager Position Purpose: This position is primarily responsible for supporting Order Fulfillment by shipping and receiving products, and to provide shipping and receiving support to the Calibration Lab. Essential Job Functions: • Gathers information, • Interacting with computers, • Communicating with persons within the organization, • Communicating with persons outside the organization on occasion, • Communicate with supervisor and peers, • Establishing and maintaining interpersonal relationships, • Updating and using relevant knowledge, • Processing information, • Organizing, planning, and prioritizing work, • Documenting information, • Receive incoming product, • Pull inventory for outgoing orders, including “Will Call” orders, • Prepares shipping documents for HazMat, • Counts warehouse inventory weekly, monthly and annually as directed, • Completes documentation, • Drive company vehicles, • Operates a forklift, • Cleans and maintenance, • Facility inspections, • Receive shipments from UPS/Fed-Ex, or LTL carriers in compliance with applicable work instructions, • Store received product in the warehouse according to like items, • Complete receiving documentation correctly and route to appropriate persons, • Ensure correct rotation of product, • Monitor communication devices for incoming orders, • Pull orders as received in a timely manner, • Package all product according to procedures defined in work instructions, • Operates a computer creating shipments for UPS/FedEx and various other shipping methods, • Communicate with shipping company personnel, • Drives delivery vehicle and delivers product to customers; sites, • Complete necessary reports and other paperwork timely and accurately, • Maintain the facility, including warehouse, and office spaces, • Clean regularly, including warehouse, office spaces, restrooms, and surrounding exterior areas, • Empty trash bins, • Maintain correct and up-to-date records, • Know and understand the Quality Management System, • Ensure compliance with the quality objectives and standards, • High school education; or up to one-month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience., • High school diploma or equivalent, • Some product knowledge, • Short-term on-the-job training, • Direct supervisor, • Quality Control, • Control of shrinkage This position carries no supervisory responsibilities Knowledge List: • Customer and Personal Service - Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. Other Duties and Responsibilities: Potential exists for an individual to assume a role in the Calibration Lab. and possibly moving into a Calibration Technician role full-time. Further advancement may include a role in Service as a support position and potentially as a Service Technician.
