Job DescriptionJob Title: Combo WelderJob Description We are seeking experienced Class 1-3 welders who are safety-minded and highly productive. You will be responsible for cutting, fitting, and tack welding all parts of heat exchangers, vessels, and towers. Structural welding candidates will not be considered. Responsibilities • Cut, fit, and tack weld parts of heat exchangers, vessels, and towers., • Weld pressure vessels or heat exchanger components using SMAW, GMAW, GTAW, FCAW, and SAW thermal processes., • Pass a weld qualification for each welding process., • Read and interpret prints for required specifications and dimensions., • Weld within the parameters of a WPS/PQR., • Proficiently execute arc gouging processes., • Efficiently execute plans to complete jobs on time with minimal supervision., • Maintain less than a 5% X-Ray repair rate and efficiently fix X-Ray and UT repairs., • Recognize and rectify sub-standard welds to ensure product quality., • Be punctual and willing to work outside of standard hours to complete tasks or projects., • Perform basic tasks such as cylinder fit-ups when needed., • Collaborate effectively with team members to achieve company goals., • Minimum of 5 years of experience in welding pressure vessels or heat exchanger components., • Extensive knowledge of SMAW, GMAW, GTAW, FCAW, and SAW thermal processes., • Ability to read shop prints for specifications and dimensions., • Proficiency in arc gouging with a carbon-arc., • Capability to efficiently fix X-Ray and UT repairs., • Self-motivation and high productivity with minimal supervision., • Experience working in confined spaces of towers, vessels, or exchangers., • Ability to efficiently enter and be productive in confined spaces., • Demonstrated ability to work well with others., • Proven ability to maintain a clean and safe work area., • Commitment to safety and following COF safety procedures. Work Environment The work schedule includes day shifts from Monday to Thursday, 6 AM to 6 PM, and night shifts from 6 PM to 6 AM, with overtime. Weekend shifts are from Friday to Sunday, plus one additional weekday, from 6 AM to 6 PM. Expect to work 60-66 hours per week, with potential for more overtime. The work environment is fast-paced, requiring a commitment to safety and collaboration. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Sand Springs, Oklahoma. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $30.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
