Job DescriptionWe are partnering with a growing, multi-entity manufacturing company seeking a Vice President, Controller to lead the accounting function and bring structure, visibility, and discipline to the finance organization.This role sits at the intersection of accounting, operations, and leadership. You will own the integrity of the financials while also partnering closely with executive leadership to drive performance, improve processes, and support continued growth.VP, Controller Responsibilities: • Own the monthly, quarterly, and annual close process across multiple entities, • Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial reporting in accordance with GAAP, • Lead preparation of internal financial statements and executive reporting packages, • Partner with the CFO/President on financial strategy and decision-making, • Oversee cost accounting, inventory valuation, and standard costing processes, • Partner with operations and supply chain to analyze margins, production costs, and variances, • Drive visibility into key drivers such as labor, materials, and overhead absorption, • Improve reporting around plant performance and operational KPIs, • Evaluate and enhance accounting processes, controls, and workflows, • Lead ERP optimization or system implementations as needed, • Build scalable infrastructure to support growth and potential acquisitions, • Strengthen internal controls and ensure audit readiness, • Lead and develop the accounting team, including mentoring and performance management, • Establish clear structure, accountability, and best practices across the function, • Collaborate cross-functionally with FP&A, operations, and executive leadership, • Ensure compliance with all regulatory and tax requirements, • Manage external audits and coordinate with auditors and advisors, • Maintain and improve internal control environmentVP, Controller Qualifications:, • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, • 10+ years of progressive accounting experience, with leadership responsibility, • Prior experience as a Controller or divisional finance leader within a manufacturing environment, • Strong background in cost accounting and inventory-heavy operations, • Experience operating in multi-entity or complex organizational structures, • Proven ability to build processes, teams, and infrastructure in a growing company, • NetSuite experience and RAMP, • Strong communication skills with the ability to partner with executive leadership
