ABOUT THE POSITION The Warehouse Associate is responsible for picking orders, order verification, using RF scanner, and safely completing duties relating to materials handling. Candidates must be available to work a schedule from Monday through Friday 10:30am - 7:30pm. Flexibility is required for support of business as needed. Essential Responsibilities • Reads orders to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed and/or shipped., • Moves materials and items from receiving or storage areas to shipping or to other designed areas., • Marks materials with identifying information using appropriate methods., • Weighs and counts items for distribution within plant to ensure conformance to company standards., • Prepares parcels for mailing., • Maintains orderliness and cleanliness of the warehouse. Practices safe work habits., • Must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or GED., • Able to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, customer orders, and packing and shipping instructions., • Able to accomplish simple math (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division)., • Able to stand and walk for long periods of time.
