Watch why we’re a Top Workplace A day in the life (2nd Shift) As our CDL‑A Utility Driver, you’ll be the go-to pro who keeps the yard moving and the fleet ready. Your shift starts at our 7300 location where you position tankers and trailers with a yard horse, wash and weigh tankers as needed, and complete Prism system transactions so inventory stays visible and accurate. When called, you’ll make shuttle runs between 7300 and MK West, or step in to cover deliveries in a straight truck, tractor trailer, or tanker. Every day includes a thorough inspection of your unit and safety kit, adherence to SOPs, and support for teammates across the plant and warehouse. You’ll uphold Hydrite’s Standard of Excellence, report any food safety concerns to your supervisor or the SQF Practitioner, and stay current with RCRA, regulatory, health & safety, and process training. What you’ll do • Stage and reposition tankers/trailers with a yard horse at the 7300 site; wash and weigh as required., • Shuttle product between 7300 and MK West; cover route deliveries when teammates are on vacation., • Execute daily computer transactions in the Prism system for accuracy and visibility., • Operate straight truck, tractor trailer, or tanker as assigned., • Inspect assigned unit and personal safety kit daily; report maintenance needs promptly., • Follow SOPs and uphold Hydrite’s Standard of Excellence for customers and facilities., • Report food safety issues to your supervisor or the SQF Practitioner immediately., • Complete required RCRA, regulatory, health & safety, and process training; maintain RCRA compliance., • Provide backup support in the plant/warehouse and collaborate to balance workloads., • High school diploma or equivalent., • Valid CDL‑A and current DOT physical with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements., • Acceptable driving record and knowledge of DOT regulations., • Strong computer skills; working knowledge of PowerPoint, Word, and Excel; experience with Prism a plus., • Forklift operation ability (previous experience preferred)., • Clear communication and interpersonal skills; ability to read, write, and speak English., • You should be proficient in: Current CDL License.
