Job Description Men's Graphic Apparel Designer - Los Angeles We are excited to invite a Graphic Designer to join our apparel team. In this role, you are responsible for creating original concepts & artwork for MEN'S apparel graphics, embellishments & trim. You will work cross-functionally in order to execute art on a speed-to-market calendar. THE ROLE • Ideate and create relevant men's apparel and graphic artwork for a premium Denim, global lifestyle brand targeting its core consumer., • Develop through seasonal concepts and graphic development, working in partnership with the Director of Graphics., • Execute graphics and artwork from conception to final product with full ownership., • Partner with Sr. Designers to develop and execute cohesive seasonal deliverables., • Help create trend boards and initiate graphic design direction for seasonal men's collections, • Create repeat patterns and prints., • Create detailed technical production files and print-ready artwork., • Make comments on all artwork strike-offs and clearly communicate comments to cross-functional partners and vendors., • Collaborate with production teams on execution, cost, and timing., • Research retail market trends and translate into salable graphics., • Maintain project libraries and organize graphics by season and concept., • Execute design briefs as needed. REQUIRED MINIMUM EXPERIENCE • 3 to 5 years of staff and/or freelance experience in the apparel industry., • 1-3 years of experience in men's graphics for apparel, • Must have experience working for a global brand with a focus in menswear, • Graphic design experience - think Abercrombie, Kith, Forever21, Urban Outfitters., • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Illustrator, and Photoshop., • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to present solutions to cross-functional partners., • Strong capability to sell-in ideas cross-functionally., • Proficient in color separation and technical details., • Strong illustration skills and typography., • Understanding of Full Circle/PLM software preferred., • Strong cross-functional communication skills., • Ability to build strong cross-functional relationships., • Ability to work independently and to be a team player., • Flexible working in office or remotely, as needed., • Must be able to work on multiple projects simultaneously within a fast-paced work environment. PREFFERED EXPERIENCE • Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, illustration, or fashion preferred., • Portfolio required COMPENSATION Salary $75,000 to $90,000, depending on experience Benefits, PTO, 401K detailed upon start 4-days in office / 1 day WFH
