ABOUT LA MAISON BY MOTIER VENTURES La Maison is an 1,800 m² community space spread across three floors in the heart of Paris, dedicated to the tech ecosystem and artificial intelligence. Launched by Motier Ventures, the family office of the Houzé family (Galeries Lafayette), La Maison hosts portfolio startups and their communities in a hybrid space combining premium offices, coworking spaces, cocktail bar, meeting rooms, and apartments. La Maison's ambition is to become a local AI hub with international reach, fostering serendipitous encounters and collaboration between founders, investors, and talents from the French tech ecosystem. MAIN MISSION As Head of Community, Event and Communication, you will be responsible for animating and developing La Maison's community, organizing strategic events, and promoting the venue within the French and international tech ecosystem. You will play a key role in creating an exceptional experience for La Maison's residents and members. RESPONSIBILITIES COMMUNITY MANAGEMENT • Develop and animate the community of founders, resident startups and La Maison members, • Create and maintain a strong sense of belonging among residents, • Facilitate connections and synergies between community members, • Organize regular social moments, • Manage resident requests and needs to optimize their experience, • Develop strategic partnerships with the Parisian and international tech ecosystem, • Ensure active on-site presence and be the main point of contact for the community EVENT MANAGEMENT • Coordinate private events for resident startups and external partners, • Design and manage La Maison's annual event calendar (tech conferences, hackathons, networking, etc.), • Manage all event logistics: planning, budgets, vendors, catering, technical, • Oversee the use of event spaces, • Work closely with La Maison's technical and operational teams, • Ensure post-event follow-up and participant feedback analysis COMMUNICATION & MARKETING • Develop and deploy La Maison's communication strategy, • Manage La Maison's social media and create engaging content, • Write content to promote events, resident startups and La Maison's news, • Highlight resident startups and their successes (product launches, fundraising rounds), • Create regular newsletters and mailings for the community DESIRED PROFILE EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE • Graduate degree in communication, marketing, events or business school (Master's level), • 2 to 5 years experience in a similar position, ideally in the startup/tech ecosystem, • Confirmed experience in professional event management and community management, • Knowledge of the venture capital and startup ecosystem in Paris is a plus TECHNICAL SKILLS • Mastery of digital communication tools (social media, CRM, email marketing), • Project management and multi-stakeholder coordination skills, • Ability to manage event and marketing budgets, • Excellent writing skills in French and English, • Proficiency with design tools (Figma, Canva) or ability to coordinate with designers PERSONAL QUALITIES • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to unite a community, • Energetic and proactive personality, • Strong organizational sense and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, • Autonomy and initiative-taking in a dynamic environment, • Creativity and sense of innovation to create memorable experiences, • Schedule flexibility (presence during evening events occasionally), • Passion for the tech ecosystem, AI and innovation LANGUAGES • Fluent in French and English TERMS & BENEFITS • Permanent contract (CDI) based in the heart of Paris (9th arrondissement), facing Opéra Garnier, • Exceptional work setting in an 1,800 m² space with refined design, • Integration within a dynamic ecosystem of innovative AI startups, • Package according to profile and experience, • Flexibility and autonomy in work organization APPLICATION To apply, please send your resume and a video (3minutes max) presenting: • Your background, • An example of a memorable event you organized What the process will look like : • Resume and video screening, • First call, • Case study, • Meeting with the team Contact: Desired Start Date: As soon as possible
