Purpose and objectives of the role Form part of a small team, who are responsible for the procurement of electronic /mechanical components in accordance with the manufacturing requirements for a diverse product range including medical and aerospace applications. The primary objective is to ensure that all daily purchasing activities are completed in a timely manner. Main duties and responsibilities • Responsible for On-Time Delivery of components and other materials to support production, • Placing/expediting orders with suppliers in line with the MRP system, • Assisting with RFQs from suppliers., • Working closely with suppliers; monitoring and reviewing KPI’s, • Work with internal stakeholders to meet customer demand, escalating any issues., • Review production shortages and overdue purchase orders. Qualifications • No formal qualifications required, • Good standard of Education Skills • Problem Solving skills, • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills., • Must have strong attention to detail., • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Excel, • Experience within a fast moving manufacturing role and MRP Experience • Previous experience is preferred but not essential as full training is given.
