What is a Duty Senior Nurse? Your role will be to support the 4 wards here at the hospital in clinical decision making, effective leadership, and overseeing incidents. This will mean you work on an 'on-call' basis, acting both as a responder and leader to the teams. This role is ideal for those who enjoy supporting and developing teams, can communicate effectively, and thrive under pressure. What are the Shift Patterns Like? We work 12-hour shifts, including days, nights, and weekends. Minimum Requirements Degree/diploma level with relevant specialist qualification, training, or experience, up to master's level. Post-registration training in relevant service area. Completion of Mentorship Course/ENB or equivalent, with extensive post-qualifying experience. Experience supervising staff and students. Ability to manage a caseload of patients with complex mental health needs. Knowledge of interventions specific to the service area. Awareness of Trust policies and service specifications. Registered RMN or Allied Health Professional Nurse with current registration and relevant mental health experience. Ability to assess and risk assess patients with complex mental health needs.
