Job Title: Sr. Data Modeler - Lloyd's of London experience Location : London ,UK Must have - Domain: Lloyd's of London - Property and Casualty / Reinsurance Responsibilities • Design and implement data modeling solutions using relational and/or dimensional databases based on need., • Work closely with Data Architects to design databases or data warehouses using a mixture of conceptual, logical and physical data models., • Assist with the development and maturing of data modeling standards, guidelines, processes, and procedure for Property and Casualty insurance., • Conduct evaluations of existing project data systems, including constructing as-is data models (reverse engineer) and identifying foundational data model. Make recommendations for how data should be modeled based on the results of completed evaluations., • Lead offshore team with source to target mappings based on data model design., • Maintain basic understanding of all ACORD standards and responsible for engineering DDL with respect to P&C insurance. Requirements • Strong Data Modeling experience using ER diagrams, using tools like Erwin., • Strong proficiency and experience in Data modeling (Conceptual, Logical, Physical, 3nF,Dimensional) at enterprise level., • Gathering and translating business requirements into technical designs and development of the physical aspects of a specified design., • Experience in Database Design, Normalization, Conceptual, Logical and Physical data modeling using Erwin., • Collaborate with Information Architecture and Business Analysis teams in the formulation of requirements for data across all product lines, • Have strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze and collect amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy., • Understand Business reporting data needs (Aggregated & Hierarchical data & etc …) and supportreporting team needs., • Review with Data architect, DBA to align on physical design, • Make sure Data Model changes are designed as per the Enterprise Data Standard with appropriate Naming standards., • Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels.
