Location: London Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours/week Sector: Pharmaceutical / Biotech Start Date: ASAP Are you an experienced scientist with a passion for pharmaceutical process development? A leading organisation in the vaccine development space is seeking a Senior Process Development Scientist to join their dynamic team and play a key role in advancing solid-dose vaccine manufacturing. Key Responsibilities: * Lead and execute laboratory-based experiments to develop robust, scalable manufacturing processes. * Support batch manufacturing activities for internal and external projects. * Drive technology transfer activities to CDMOs, including work at third-party sites. * Analyse and interpret experimental data, generating detailed protocols and technical reports. * Mentor junior scientists and foster a culture of scientific excellence. * Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure smooth project execution. * Maintain high standards of documentation within a quality system. * Stay up to date with scientific literature and apply knowledge with IP awareness. Ideal Candidate Profile: * Degree (BSc/BEng) in a relevant science or engineering discipline. * Must have lab-based experience in an R&D setting. * Background in pharmaceutical process development or manufacturing. * Proven experience in GMP-compliant environments and a strong track record in technology transfer required. * Experience with powder blending and / or tabletting is highly desirable. * Excellent communication, documentation, and mentoring skills.
