Executive Assistant to COO & CRO (Maternity Cover) Plymouth | Fixed-Term Contract (FTC) | Ventro Group Ventro Group is a PE‑backed, multi-brand fire safety and building compliance business headquartered in Plymouth. Through our group brands - Ventro, Firntec, and HJS - we deliver passive and active fire protection, façade inspection, and building compliance services to major developers, housing associations, and building owners across the UK. We’re scaling fast in a regulated, business‑critical sector - and our executive team sits at the centre of that growth. To keep pace, we’re looking for an exceptional Executive Assistant who can keep our COO and CRO operating at their best. The Opportunity This is a high-trust, high-impact EA role supporting two senior executives. You’ll be the person who keeps momentum, protects executive time, and ensures the right information reaches the right people at the right moment. What You’ll Be Doing • Managing complex diaries and inboxes for both executives, including responding on their behalf via dictation, • Anticipating needs, filtering priorities, and removing unnecessary demands on executive time, • Preparing board-quality reports, presentations, agendas, and minutes - and tracking actions through to completion, • Maintaining task management systems (ClickUp/Todoist), spreadsheets, and internal documentation, • Supporting payroll processes: collating monthly commission data, processing expenses via PeopleHR, and coordinating travel, • Providing proactive, high-quality administrative support across the business What We’re Looking For Essential • Experience supporting at Director, COO, or C‑suite level in a fast-paced commercial environment, • Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint), • Proven diary and inbox management capability with frequent changes and competing priorities, • Strong minute-taking and document preparation skills, • High integrity and discretion - trusted with sensitive information from day one, • Confident, professional communicator with strong stakeholder management, • Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work autonomously Desirable • Experience with ClickUp or Todoist, • Familiarity with HR/payroll systems (e.g., PeopleHR), • Background in PE-backed, growth-stage, or multi-brand environments, • Knowledge of fire safety, building compliance, or construction Contract Details • Contract: Fixed-Term (Maternity Cover), up to 12 months, • Location: Plymouth, Devon - office-based, Monday to Friday, • Hours: Full-time, • Reports to: COO & CRO, • Start Date: June 2026 (to be confirmed) Our Commitment Ventro Ltd values diversity and promotes equality.
