ABOUT THE ROLE We’re looking for a PR Manager to lead proactive consumer and trade media engagement, elevate our founder and brand storytelling, and amplify new salon openings, services, and partnerships. You’ll also play a key role in supporting influencer and advocacy initiatives, helping Townhouse continue to grow as the most talked-about beauty services brand globally. This is a hands-on role for someone with demonstrable press contacts across consumer lifestyle, fashion, and beauty titles. Experience within the franchise sector or with fast-growing, founder-led businesses is a bonus but not essential. Based at our London Central Support Centre, this role is ideal for a confident communicator who thrives in a fast-paced, creative environment and loves seeing their work make a real impact. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Media Relations & Storytelling • Develop and execute PR strategies to secure impactful earned media across consumer lifestyle, fashion, beauty, and trade outlets., • Build and nurture strong relationships with journalists, editors, and opinion leaders., • Craft press releases, pitches, media kits, and thought-leadership angles for Townhouse and its Founder., • Position our Founder & Creative Director as a thought leader in beauty, fashion, and business., • Partner with the Social & Influencer team to amplify key moments via influencer collaborations and gifting., • Deliver PR campaigns for new salon openings, supporting franchise partners with tailored toolkits and local amplification., • Manage PR elements of brand collaborations and corporate partnerships., • Define clear KPIs for PR performance, coverage reach, and ROI., • Monitor competitor PR activity, cultural trends, and emerging media platforms., • Experienced PR professional with a strong background in consumer, lifestyle, fashion, beauty, or luxury brands, gained either in-house or agency-side., • Proven network of UK consumer and trade media contacts., • Strong track record in delivering impactful earned media results across print, digital, and social., • Experience in franchise or fast-growth environments is an advantage., • Skilled in crafting compelling brand and founder stories., • Strong event management experience (press days, launches, influencer activations)., • Knowledge of influencer marketing and content as part of an integrated PR strategy., • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with an editorial, fashion-forward tone., • Highly organised, proactive, and confident working in a fast-paced, growing brand. This is a full-time, permanent role based at our Support Centre in Central London, and we offer a hybrid working model, aligned with role requirements.
