What you will do: • Deliver high-quality social work practice in line with the Social Services and Well-being (Wales) Act 2014, ensuring the safeguarding and promotion of the well-being of vulnerable adults., • Manage complex cases efficiently, conducting risk assessments and formulating comprehensive care plans., • Collaborate seamlessly with multi-disciplinary teams and external agencies to ensure coordinated care., • Undertake statutory assessments and craft outcome-focused care plans, always reviewing and updating them regularly., • Balance safeguarding duties with the promotion of independence through risk management strategies., • Provide support to individuals across various needs including physical disabilities, mental health needs, substance misuse, and transitions from children's to adult services., • Guide and offer supervisory support to other Social Workers, stepping in as deputy in the Team Manager's absence. Requirements of the Social Worker: • A relevant degree or equivalent qualification in social work., • Significant frontline experience as a qualified Social Worker within the UK Social Services., • Registration with Social Care Wales is mandatory., • Strong understanding of relevant legislation, safeguarding principles, and person-centred approaches., • Demonstrated ability to manage complex caseloads and maintain high standards in both written and everyday practice.
