The successful candidate will participate in a 1 in 10 on-call rota for Labour ward and Gynecology on call. On call has to be swapped well in advance if there is a need to take Annual or Study leave. The other weeks will have the rest of the clinical sessions and supporting activities when it is expected that annual leave will be taken. The successful candidate must have extensive experience in Obstetrics and Gynaecology. The candidate must demonstrate an ability to work as part of the broad consultant team, with the expectation that further changes will occur in all job plans as the department develops. They will work as part of a multidisciplinary team to provide continuity of care for patients in this Trust. Supporting professional activities (SPAs) are expected to be worked on site unless agreed otherwise with the Clinical Director and specified in the job plan.
