A Regional Support Manager is responsible for providing support to all operational managers, teams and colleagues. They will take a lead in coaching and guiding operational teams and colleagues based on business demands in both regulated and non-regulated services. They will closely support their Operation Manager to ensure services in their portfolio are delivering excellent quality care to the People We Support (PWS) with a focus of continuous improvement and commercial success. They will be required to assist or manage any service that requires support, and this may include working flexibly across a 7-day period, varying shift times, plus overnight stays. They will be responsible for ensuring services are fully competent in using office management systems, adhering to policies and procedures, and understanding their relevant Local Authority/Safeguarding/CCG/NHS as well as other customers contractual requirements. They need to ensure they lead by example and all teams they support are performing their daily duties to a high standard whilst promoting our ETHOS values in everything they do. In the absence of a Registered Manager, being directly responsible and accountable for service compliance in line the requirements of the regulatory body and all other duties covered in the Registered Managers job description. This may also include registering with the regulatory body as the Registered Manager when required. Managers will also be responsible for delivering the quality, financial, health and safety, regulatory requirements of a specified geographical area of Voyage Care services within the South West region. The Company operates from key locations across the South. All sites benefit from vehicle repair workshops, a fleet of rescue recovery vehicles and suitable stocks of replacement parts. JOB DESCRIPTION Westbourne operates a fleet of fully equipped service vehicles across its working area. You will be provided with a fully equipped roadside vehicle capable of a wide range of roadside repairs. Vehicles are fitted with the latest diagnostic equipment to quickly identify faults on a wide range of cars and light commercial vehicles. Service vans are fitted with towing equipment capable of recovering the majority of motor vehicles either to a repair workshop or to the customers chosen destination. The aim of a Westbourne Technician is to safely repair as many vehicles as possible at the roadside. The ethos of Westbourne is to repair more cars than its competitors. Roadside Vehicle breakdown encompasses breakdowns either at the customers home address or at any location within the UK. The first priority of the technician is always the care and safety of any customers present with the vehicle. All makes and models of vehicles are covered and technicians are expected to diagnose and repair the majority of faults at roadside. Depending on workloads and call times technicians may be asked to carry out further basic repairs to these vehicles in the workshops. In addition to the repair of vehicles, a roadside technician (where equipped with a suitable vehicle) will recover non repairable vehicles. Recovery use of roadside technicians is normally limited to more local recovery (within 60 miles), with long distance recovery carried out by dedicated recovery drivers. SALARY The basic salary is £34,000 per year, with a range of bonus opportunities which have the potential of adding a further £8,000 per year. SHIFT HOURS 4 days on duty followed by 2 days off, with the same shift start for each 4 days.
