This is a newly created, hands-on role combining general HR support with responsibility for day-to-day recruitment. It would suit someone who enjoys variety, is confident working independently and wants the opportunity to help shape a developing People and Talent function. Working closely with the senior leadership team, you will support employees throughout the full employee lifecycle while managing recruitment across a range of clinical and non-clinical roles. Key responsibilities will include: • Managing vacancies from initial briefing through to offer and onboarding, • Writing job descriptions and advertising roles, • Proactively sourcing and approaching suitable candidates, • Reviewing applications and conducting initial screening interviews, • Coordinating interviews and maintaining regular candidate communication, • Building talent pipelines for frequently recruited positions, • Preparing contracts, offer letters and other employment documentation, • Coordinating references, pre-employment checks and Right to Work documentation, • Maintaining accurate and confidential employee records, • Supporting probation reviews, contractual changes, absence and holiday administration, • Responding to routine employee queries, • Coordinating onboarding, offboarding and exit processes, • Supporting HR policies, employee engagement and wider People initiatives, • Helping improve recruitment and HR processes across multiple locations About you You will ideally have previous experience in an HR, People or Talent role, with practical exposure to both recruitment and general HR administration. You must be comfortable managing recruitment independently, including proactively sourcing candidates and conducting initial interviews, rather than having experience solely within recruitment coordination. You will be: • Warm, approachable and people-focused, • Highly organised, with excellent attention to detail, • Confident communicating with candidates, employees and senior stakeholders, • Comfortable managing several vacancies and HR priorities at once, • Proactive and able to work independently, • Discreet when handling sensitive and confidential information, • Confident using HR systems, recruitment platforms and Microsoft Office, • Keen to improve processes and introduce new ideas Experience within healthcare would be helpful but is not essential. Applications are also welcomed from candidates who have worked in fast-growing, multi-site or customer-focused organisations. A CIPD qualification, or currently working towards one, would be advantageous, although practical experience and the right attitude are equally important. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing business at an exciting stage of its development, take genuine ownership of the role and influence how its People and Talent function evolves.
