Field Service Delivery Manager About the job: We are looking for a Field Service Delivery Manager (Qualified Electrician) to lead our growing field operations and ensure the safe, efficient, and high-quality delivery of our services across domestic and SME portfolios. As a fully qualified and competent electrician with strong operational leadership experience, you will play a pivotal role within our Operations function, enabling our field teams to deliver exceptional customer outcomes, meet contractual obligations, and support the commercial performance of the business. As we continue to scale, this role will ensure our field operations are structured, supported, and equipped to deliver consistently, with the right people, the right stock, and the right processes in place. What you’ll do: Key Responsibilities Leadership & People Management • Lead, coach, and develop Field Leads, Engineers, and Roofers to deliver high performance and high-quality work., • Drive a positive, safe, and accountable culture across the field workforce., • Conduct regular 1:1s, performance reviews, and capability development plans., • Support workforce planning, recruitment, onboarding, and succession planning. Operational Delivery • Ensure field teams meet productivity, SLA, and quality targets across all workstreams., • Oversee daily scheduling performance and ensure jobs are completed right first time., • Work closely with Customer Success and CRM teams to reduce cancellations, rework, and customer escalations., • Monitor operational KPIs and implement improvement actions where required. Safety, Compliance & Quality • Champion safe working practices and ensure compliance with all H&S requirements., • Work in partnership with the Head of Technical, HSE Advisor, and Technical Review Engineer to maintain technical and regulatory standards., • Ensure field teams follow approved processes, documentation, and installation standards. Commercial & Contractual Performance • Ensure field delivery supports contractual commitments and commercial targets., • Manage cost efficiency across labour, travel, and operational resources., • Support the Operations Director with forecasting, budgeting, and performance reporting., • Responsible for supplier and stock management including management relationships and service delivery standards of 3PL and key suppliers. Cross‑Functional Collaboration • Partner with Operations Support to ensure stock availability, supplier performance, and operational readiness., • Work closely with CRM and Customer Success to improve customer experience and communication., • Collaborate with Technical teams to resolve escalations and improve technical quality. Other duties The post holder may be required to undertake other reasonable adhoc duties as appropriate and requested by their Line Manager. You should be comfortable balancing commercial, customer, and operational priorities while maintaining a calm, solutions‑focused mindset. Qualifications & Certifications (Essential) for our Competent Persons scheme (NAPIT): • Level 3 NVQ qualification in Electrical Installations or equivalent or Electrotechnical Experienced Worker Assessment (previously known as Mature Candidate Assessment), • AM2, • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations / City & Guilds 2382-22 (unless already included within the Level 3 qualification), • City & Guilds 2391 / 2394 / 2395 Testing and Inspection, • Demonstrable competence in electrical installation, testing, and certification in domestic and/or commercial environments., • Full UK driving licence. Qualifications & Certifications (Desirable) • Solar PV qualification (e.g., City & Guilds 2399, LCL Awards Solar PV)., • Battery storage qualification (e.g., LCL Awards Level 3 Battery Storage)., • IOSH Managing Safely or equivalent H&S qualification., • Experience working under MCS, NICEIC, or similar accreditation frameworks.
