About the role: • Location: Washington, • Hours: Monday to Friday 50 hours per week, • Salary: Potential Earnings 40950 pa dependent on experience and inclusive of overtime The Job: We are currently seeking an experienced Operations Supervisor to join our team in this role you will play a key part in ensuring the efficient and safe operations of our field-based engineers. Your responsibilities will include assisting with the planning and coordination of engineering activities performing site Health & Safety audits ensuring the team is properly equipped and maintaining a professional and safe working environment. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with drainage experience or a supervisory background who is looking to develop their career further. The role will involve both field and office-based tasks ensuring that operations run smoothly while also being part of the operational team when needed. Key Responsibilities: • Assist with planning and coordinating the activities of the engineering team to ensure tasks are completed on time and to the required standard., • Being the first point of contact for the operatives and supporting them with problem solving for any drainage related issues., • Customer/Client interaction- providing timescales and being a contact to answer any questions or queries they may have, • Perform Health & Safety audits on-site and ensure compliance with safety protocols., • Ensure that the team has the necessary equipment information and resources to complete work efficiently and safely., • Assisting in managing the companys vehicles and plant within the depot ensuring they are properly calibrated serviced and maintained., • Maintain the fleet and equipment in a condition that reflects the companys professional image and commitment to Health & Safety., • Previous experience in drainage or utilities is preferred but not essential., • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team of field-based engineers., • A full UK driving licence is required., • Ability to schedule and prioritise tasks effectively to optimise workflow and asset usage.
