My client is one of the largest financial institutions headquartered in Japan, with an established presence across all consumer and corporate banking businesses. Through its subsidiaries and affiliates, they offer a diverse range of financial services, including commercial banking, leasing, securities, credit card, consumer finance and other services. They are looking for a Lending Transformation Functional Analyst to join the team on an initial 6 months contract. You will be working Monday to Friday, standard office hours with the occasional out of hours requirement in line with business needs. Purpose of Job • Working on the SPD Portfolio Monitoring Model (SPMM) extension to Front Office project within the ITSD Business Applications Loans workstream of the Lending Team, • Lending Applications is a key contributor to the Lending Transformation Program and this role will require working closely with Business SMEs and Business Analyst as well as with IT partners and vendors., • You will be responsible for documenting the business functional requirements per department to extend the existing SPMM application as a Portfolio Management platform, • The individual will assist the TDM in preparing the project governance to complete the Initiation phase and drive strategic decisions to move the project forward into Implementation phase Accountabilities & Responsibilities Business requirements gathering • Oversee the documentation of Day 1 business requirements for impacted IT areas in line with the organisations guidelines., • Work closely with the Business users understand the business and transfer those into functional requirements, • Real Estate Finance, • Corporate Banking Dept – Non Japanese Corporate clients, • International and Structured Finance – Project Finance, • Attend periodic review meetings with a view to monitor progress against plan, highlighting any risks, issues, or dependencies along with mitigation plans, request for any support or escalation required etc, • Provide regular updates on progress made, risks etc at project meetings., • Extensive experience interacting with senior stakeholders to ensure project alignment and successful outcomes. Knowledge, Skills, Experience & Background • Educated to degree level or relevant experience., • Experience in conducting workshops with senior stakeholders., • Must be able to work with Business Analysts and IT partners in a collaborative manner, demonstrating the business impact of any system changes., • Experience in transformation and change programmes in Lending, Credit or Portfolio Management., • Good knowledge and understanding of project management, process mapping and business requirements gathering.
