The Coffee Club is open 7am-5pm which means your evenings are always free (unless we have special events on)!     We are seeking a professional and reliable driver to join our logistics team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of goods across various routes, ensuring timely deliveries. Experience with flatbed and commercial driving is highly desirable, alongside a strong commitment to safety and customer service. Responsibilities • Safely operate flatbed and Hiab lorries (training available) to transport goods to designated locations., • Plan routes effectively to optimise delivery times and minimise fuel consumption., • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle, ensuring all safety checks are completed thoroughly., • Secure cargo properly to prevent movement or damage during transit., • Maintain accurate records of deliveries., • Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding delivery schedules or any unforeseen delays., • Adhere strictly to all road safety regulations and company policies throughout each journey., Experience, • Proven experience as a delivery driver or commercial driver, is preferred but training is available., • Strong knowledge of driving regulations within the UK, including tachograph rules and safety standards., • Valid driving licence suitable for operating heavy goods vehicles (HGV) and valid Driver CPC., • Familiarity with route planning software or GPS navigation tools is beneficial.
