Job Summary The Finance Administrator will support the Finance team with day-to-day transactional and administrative tasks. Working as part of a close knit and supportive team this role is ideal for an enthusiastic and numerate individual who is eager to develop their skills and gain hands-on experience in a dynamic SaaS business. You will be supported and mentored by the Management Accountant and the wider Finance team. There will also be opportunities for training and professional development. Key Responsibilities • Invoice Processing: Accurately input and process purchase invoices ensuring correct coding and approvals., • Expense Management: Review and process staff expenses in line with company policy., • Bookkeeping Support: Assist with the preparation and maintenance of accurate accounting records., • Bank Reconciliations: Perform reconciliations of bank accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness., • Supplier Management: Support the Finance team in maintaining up-to-date supplier records and resolving queries., • Month-End Support: Assist with the collation of information and basic reconciliations as part of the month-end close., • Ad-hoc Tasks: Provide general support to the Management Accountant and wider Finance team as required. Essential Skills & Experience • GCSE Grade A-C (5-9) in Maths and English (or equivalent), • Eagerness to learn and develop in a finance role., • Ability to manage time effectively and prioritise workload., • Good attention to detail with a methodical approach to tasks, • Competent in Microsoft Office/Google Workspace applications (particularly Excel/Google Sheets), • Strong numerical and analytical skills., • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, • The ability to work in a fast-paced environment., • Proven ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment while independently managing tasks and priorities., • Attention to detail and accuracy Nice to have • Familiarity with accounting software or ERP systems., • Knowledge of basic accounting principles., • Experience of working within a finance team.
