With a growing client base and a supportive leadership team, this is an excellent opportunity to join a practice where your contribution will have a visible impact. \n \n Description \n\n • Manage a portfolio of personal tax clients across the full self-assessment cycle.\n, • Prepare and review personal tax returns covering individuals, partnerships, trusts and estates.\n, • Manage information gathering, client communications and HMRC submissions.\n, • Prepare 60-day Capital Gains Tax returns and associated client correspondence.\n, • Oversee the P11D compliance process, including benefit and expense reporting.\n, • Support senior tax professionals with compliance aspects of advisory and planning projects.\n, • Assist with Trust Registration Service submissions and inheritance tax compliance matters.\n, • Act as a key point of contact for clients, providing day-to-day tax support.\n, • Liaise directly with HMRC and resolve compliance-related queries.\n, • Work closely with payroll and wider practice teams to ensure a joined-up client service.\n, • Identify opportunities to improve internal processes and enhance client delivery.\n, • Support and guide junior team members where appropriate.\n\n \n Profile \n\n • ATT qualified or qualified by experience.\n, • Strong personal tax compliance experience gained within an accountancy practice.\n, • Experience managing a portfolio of private clients.\n, • Good knowledge of self-assessment, capital gains tax and personal tax compliance.\n, • Exposure to trusts, estates and inheritance tax matters would be advantageous.\n, • Strong understanding of HMRC processes and filing obligations.\n, • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines.\n, • Strong communication skills and ability to build client relationships.\n, • Proactive approach with strong attention to detail.\n, • Comfortable working independently while collaborating with wider teams.\n\n \n Job Offer \n\n • Salary: £32,000 - £40,000\n, • Flexible and supportive working environment.\n, • Independent accountancy practice.\n, • Varied personal tax portfolio.\n, • Exposure to individuals, partnerships, trusts and estates.\n, • Opportunity to work closely with experienced tax leaders.\n, • Strong client-facing responsibility.\n, • Broad compliance exposure across multiple personal tax areas.\n, • Involvement in tax planning and advisory-related projects.\n, • Ongoing professional development and technical training.\n, • Long-term progression opportunities within a growing practice.\n\n
