We're excited to offer an opportunity to join our Outbound Customer Communications team (OCC) as a Quality Assurance Testing (QAT) Analyst - a key role in ensuring our Communications solutions both Paper and Digital based are robust, reliable and deliver real value. You'll be part of a collaborative, forward-thinking team that's transforming how we work across HMRC. This is a manual testing role focused on validating our Communications products. You'll ensure that processes built using Quadient software meet business requirements and perform reliably in live environments following extensive testing. You'll work closely with developers, product owners, delivery managers and business experts to ensure our Communications products meet signed-off requirements and deliver high-quality outcomes. You'll lead on test requirements such as test cases, identify and set up test data, execute manual tests, manage individual projects from a test perspective within the team and carry out Post Go Live Testing. Your attention to detail and ability to spot gaps in requirements will be crucial to our success. You'll also play a key role in mentoring others and promoting best practice across our centralised testing community. This role sits within HMRC's Chief Digital & Information Office (CDIO), in a team that's passionate about innovation and user experience. Job description As a QAT Analyst in HMRC's OCC team, you will be a vital contributor to the project development lifecycle, ensuring that Communication solutions meet signed-off requirements and deliver high-quality outcomes. Using Quadient Software, you'll help to ensure our Communication Products meet the needs of our customers by validating and assuring developed code. You'll collaborate closely with product owners, business experts, developers, delivery managers and business analysts to design and execute comprehensive testing strategies. Your work will ensure that every communications product is robust, reliable, and aligned with business expectations. Person specification You will play a key role in ensuring the quality and reliability of communications. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to design, execute, and continuously improve testing approaches that align with user needs and operational goals.
